The #metoo movement is not a passing fad and neither is our demand for equality and more diversity in the top positions of power. We, as women, aren’t “acting up” the treatment we demand now is that of real equality. Don’t steal a touch here and there. Don’t ask us inappropriate shit. Just treat us like human beings. Don’t hold us back because you’re scared. And to the population of men who are good men but afraid of someone coming forward about them. Don’t discredit our moving ourselves and our daughters forward because you’re afraid of the off chance there was this one time you don’t really remember but you may have acted in an uncool way. They are legends and 2 of the greatest comics of all time. I would like to say that I have been selling out arenas these last couple years. Something a female comic has never done. That's a big deal to me, especially because I know I do my best every night on stage for the audience and they have a good time. I didn't ask for the same as my friends. I did ask for more than the initial offer. I will continue to work my ass off and be the best performer I can be.
